Consent to the processing of biometric personal data

This Consent is signed separately from Terms of Use and Privacy Policies in accordance with Part 1, Art. 9 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 07/27/2006 "On Personal Data" (as amended, effective 09/01/2025).

The Subject is an individual who uses the Sonar Assistant desktop application. The Subject's surname, given name, patronymic, and contact details are determined from the User's account data in the Service.

3. Purpose of processing biometric personal data

Implementation of Sonar Assistant service features – automatic speech recognition and generation of AI prompts for the User during the conversation.

4. List of biometric personal data

• User's voice as streaming audio captured from the computer microphone
• Voice of other participants in the conversation as streaming audio of the computer's system sound (if the user enables system sound capture)

5. List of operations involving biometric personal data

• Recording (streaming, without long-term storage of original audio)
• Transfer to second-level processors:
  • Soniox, Inc. (USA, processing on servers in Frankfurt, Germany) — for speech recognition
  • OpenRouter, Inc. (USA), Google LLC (USA), DeepSeek AI (China) — for generating AI hints based on the text transcript
• Used exclusively to display the User’s transcript and AI hints
• Not used for personal identification
• Not hosted in the Unified Biometric System (UBS)
• Not used for model trainingOperators or guarantors

6. Consent validity period

For the duration of the User's account in the Service.

7. Consent revocation procedure

Consent may be withdrawn at any time by:

• written request to support@sonarsense.io
• withdrawal of consent in your personal account under “Consents”

Withdrawing consent makes it impossible to continue using Sonar Assistant, as processing biometric personal data (voice) is technically necessary for the Service to function.

8. Method of giving consent

Checking the "I consent to the processing of biometric personal data" box upon the first launch of the "Sonar Assistant" application or after significant changes to this document. The date, IP address, and document version are recorded by the Operator in the consent log.
